The court sentenced a drunk driver who drove about 5 meters in a parking lot while intoxicated to a fine.
According to the legal community on the 9th, Judge Jeong Yumi of the Seoul Southern District Court Criminal Division 11 sentenced Lee (47), who was indicted for violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving), to a fine of 6 million won.
Lee is accused of driving a passenger car about 5 meters in a parking lot of a building in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, while intoxicated in July last year. At that time, Lee's blood alcohol concentration was 0.122%, which corresponds to the license cancellation level (0.08% or higher).

Judge Jeong stated, "Considering that the defendant drove to move the vehicle due to parking issues near his residence, the defendant's criminal record (first offense), blood alcohol concentration, and all sentencing conditions appearing in the case records and arguments were comprehensively taken into account."
