Among the 25 autonomous districts of Seoul, Gangnam-gu was found to have the lowest average golf score. According to the analysis of the recent 9-round average scores of about 510,000 Seoul residents who are members of the golf platform SmartScore, released on the 7th, Gangnam-gu members recorded the best average score of 94.3 strokes. Following Gangnam-gu were Seocho-gu (94.4 strokes), Yangcheon-gu (94.6 strokes), Songpa-gu (95.0 strokes), and Jongno-gu (95.1 strokes).

Gangnam-gu members also demonstrated outstanding golf skills in average scores by age group. They ranked first in the 30s (101.6 strokes), 40s (97.5 strokes), 50s (92.2 strokes), and 60s (88.9 strokes). The top district for the 20s was Yangcheon-gu (99.5 strokes). By gender, males ranked first in Gangnam-gu (93 strokes), followed by Seocho-gu (93.2 strokes), Yangcheon-gu (93.8 strokes), Songpa-gu (94 strokes), and Jongno-gu (94.1 strokes) in 2nd to 5th places. For females, Yangcheon-gu ranked first (96.9 strokes). Last year, the number of score entries per person was highest in Gangnam-gu with 9.2 times, followed by Seocho-gu (9.1 times) and Songpa-gu (8.5 times).
SmartScore analyzed, "According to the 2022 year-end tax settlement report on earned income by city, county, and district based on address from the National Tax Statistics Portal (TASIS), the top five autonomous districts by average annual salary of workers were Gangnam-gu (84.19 million KRW), Seocho-gu (84.01 million KRW), Yongsan-gu (76.40 million KRW), Songpa-gu (58.28 million KRW), and Jongno-gu (55.23 million KRW)." They added, "The ranking of four out of the top five economically strong districts matches the ranking of members' average golf scores."
