Muan County Council Holds Traditional Market Shopping Event for Seol Holiday
Appealing for Active Participation in Consuming Excellent Korean Agricultural, Marine, and Livestock Products by Visiting Traditional Markets
The Muan County Council of Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun) announced on the 6th that it held a 'Traditional Market Shopping Event' ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The event was organized to revitalize the weakened consumer sentiment caused by the ongoing economic downturn and to breathe new life into traditional markets.

Council members visited the Ilro 5-day Market, encouraged the use of traditional markets, purchased various agricultural products and ritual items directly, and listened to the difficulties faced by traditional market merchants.
Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun said, "We hope everyone actively participates in shopping at traditional markets to revitalize the local economy," and added, "We wish all residents and merchants a warm and pleasant Lunar New Year holiday."
