National Gwangju Science Museum Operates Nighttime Astronomical Observation Program
The National Gwangju Science Museum will operate the Starlight School and Night Sky Observation Log as nighttime celestial observation programs this month.
The Starlight School will be held on the 21st as an educational program for citizens interested in astronomy and space.
Participants can experience the mysterious universe and constellations in the planetarium and observe various celestial bodies such as the Moon and Jupiter through a large 1.2m diameter telescope.
The Night Sky Observation Log, held on the 22nd, is a telescope experience education program where participants learn about celestial telescopes and use them directly.
Participants can set up the celestial telescope themselves, freely operate it to observe celestial bodies, take photos of celestial objects using their smartphones, and print the photos they took as souvenirs.
During this nighttime celestial observation program, participants can observe the Moon's craters, the beautifully striped Jupiter, and Sirius, the brightest star.
