SK Innovation Ulsan Complex Donates 100 Million KRW to Local Children's Center for Warm Winter Vacation
SK Innovation Ulsan Complex (Executive Vice President Kim Jong-hwa) donated 100 million KRW to support a warm winter vacation for local children's centers.
At the donation ceremony held on the 6th at Nam-gu Ainuri Haebom Local Children's Center, Seo Jung-wook, Deputy Mayor of Ulsan City, Park Jung-won, Head of External Cooperation at SK Innovation CLX, Cho Jin-ho, Secretary General of Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, and Ahn Gwi-sook, President of the Ulsan Metropolitan City Association of Local Children's Centers, attended.
The 100 million KRW donation supported by SK Innovation Ulsan CLX will be used as program funds such as heating costs and experiential learning expenses for about 1,200 children using 57 local children's centers within Ulsan City, contributing to creating a "care city Ulsan where children are happy and parents are at ease."
Park Jung-won, Head of External Cooperation at SK Innovation CLX, said, “We believe it is the rightful role of Ulsan’s representative energy company to care for and embrace children who desperately need help during the cold winter. Through this support, we hope that children using local children's centers will spend a fulfilling winter vacation in a comfortable environment with various experiences. SK will continue to strive to share warmth with socially marginalized groups in the local community.”

Deputy Mayor Seo Jung-wook responded, “We express our gratitude to SK Innovation Ulsan CLX for willingly donating funds to local children's centers, which are facing difficulties in operation due to increased heating costs in winter. Starting this year, Ulsan City will also make efforts to help children grow healthier by providing policy support such as phased wage adjustments for local children's center workers and increasing the number of workers in centers with more than 25 children.”
