Hapcheon-gun Promotes Incentive Support Project to Attract Group Tourists
Support of 10,000 KRW per person for group tourists of 10 or more
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 6th that starting from February, it will implement the 2024 Group Tourist Attraction Incentive Support Project for travel agencies to revitalize the local economy by attracting group tourists.
The target of this incentive support project is travel agencies registered under the Tourism Promotion Act. If they meet the support conditions such as the number of visitors, use of tourist attractions and restaurants, and submit supporting documents, they can receive incentive support.
For day tours, if a group of 10 or more domestic or foreign tourists uses at least one paid tourist attraction and one restaurant each, 10,000 KRW per person will be supported. For overnight tours, if they use at least two paid tourist attractions and two restaurants each, 15,000 KRW per person per night will be supported for one night, and 20,000 KRW per person for two nights.
Additionally, if overseas tourists use air or train transportation and then take a bus from the airport or train station to Hapcheon, the bus rental fee will also be supported. A large bus rental will be supported with 400,000 KRW, and if a Hapcheon travel agency bus is used, 600,000 KRW will be supported.

We will continue to do our best to revitalize the local economy and increase tourist attraction through various tourism marketing and travel programs.”
