Pyeongtaek City Expands Support Program for Infertile Couples
Increase Procedure Frequency by Removing Valves Between Procedures
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 5th that, starting this month, it will remove partitions between in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures and increase the number of procedures to support childbirth for infertile couples.
Accordingly, the city explained that infertile couples will be able to receive support for a total of 25 infertility treatment procedures, including 20 IVF procedures and 5 artificial inseminations, regardless of whether the embryos are fresh or frozen.
Previously, last year, the city abolished income criteria for eligibility to expand support for infertile couples. For more detailed information regarding the support programs, inquiries can be made to the Pyeongtaek, Songtan, or Anjung Public Health Centers.
