Bank of Korea Currency Museum Hosts 'Young Artists of Our Time' Exhibition
Resuming After 8 Years
Exhibition Period: 6 Days ~ May 5
The Bank of Korea announced on the 5th that it will hold an exhibition titled 'Young Artists of Our Time Selected by the Bank of Korea' to commemorate the completion of the Bank of Korea Integrated Annex.
The exhibition will be held from the 6th to May 5th on the 2nd floor of the Bank of Korea Currency Museum in the Bank of Korea Gallery. This event is being resumed after 8 years since it was last held in 2016.
The exhibition will showcase a total of 30 works by six artists selected through the '2024 Bank of Korea Emerging Artists Competition' held last November. The selected artists are Kim Woo-ju (Western painting), Park Ji-soo (Western painting), Seol Jin-hwa (Korean painting), Lee Hyun-ji (Western painting), Lee Hye-jin (Korean painting), and Heo Hyun-sook (Korean painting).

A Bank of Korea official stated, "The works introduced in this exhibition are new pieces by emerging artists, and we expect visitors to experience the diverse personalities and innovative experimental spirit of each artist."
