"Learn Korean"... Eunpyeong-gu Conducts Korean Language Education for Multicultural Families
Annual education for marriage immigrants from March to November on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays... Employment Korean language and vocational training programs offered... Winter and summer vacation special lectures for children of mid-term immigrants also available
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will conduct 'Korean Language Education' for multicultural families residing in the area.
'Korean Language Education' is designed for marriage immigrants and children of multicultural families who entered Korea mid-way, aiming to improve their Korean language skills and help them adapt to the local community.
Applications can be submitted online through the Eunpyeong-gu Family Center website or by phone until the 13th of this month.
The 'Korean Language Education' program will be held as an annual course at the Eunpyeong-gu Family Center from next month 4th to November 11th, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Participants will be divided into beginner and intermediate classes according to their skill levels. In particular, a 'Korean for Employment and Vocational Training Program' will be offered for marriage immigrants who wish to find employment.
Special lectures are also being conducted during vacation periods to improve the Korean language skills of children who entered Korea mid-way and to help them adapt smoothly to school life. The 'Children of Multicultural Families Class' runs from the 22nd of last month to the 28th of this month, with a total of 24 sessions held on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
