Ministry of Industry and Korea Federation of SMEs Emphasize 'One Team' to Achieve Export Targets

Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Andukgeun and Kim Gimun, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, met and emphasized a 'One Team Partnership' to achieve export targets.
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 31st that it held a meeting with Minister Andukgeun at the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeouido, Seoul, to discuss industrial policy directions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
At the meeting, Chairman Kim said, "Since the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's export target is the highest ever, the SME sector has high expectations for expanded export support," and urged, "Please pay attention to supply chain management and raw material procurement for SMEs amid the unstable trade environment."
He continued, "The SME sector will also work together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy as a global one team to achieve the challenging export targets," and requested, "I ask the Ministry to strengthen communication to resolve SMEs' issues such as export challenges and corporate regulations."
Minister Andukgeun said, "Let us work together, the Ministry and the Korea Federation of SMEs, to solve this year's major tasks such as achieving export targets, stabilizing supply chains, and improving regulations."
