Muan-gun Conducts National Budget Capacity Building Training and Consulting for Public Officials
Accelerating Preparations to Secure the 2025 National Budget
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) conducted a ‘2025 National Budget Securing Employee Capacity Building Training and Consulting’ for over 150 employees at the county office meeting room on the 30th.
According to the county on the 31st, the training was held under the theme ‘Understanding the Government Budget Process and Strategies for Securing National Funds’ by inviting Lee Seon-ho, a government budget expert and head of the Jeollanam-do Budget General Team.

The lecture proceeded in the order of △Understanding the National Budget Formulation Process △Strategies for Securing National Funds △Explanation of Best Practices, providing employees with a clear and practical explanation of systematic and hands-on strategies and methods for securing national funds.
Additionally, as know-how for securing national funds, the training emphasized continuous communication and diversification of channels for smooth communication with central government ministries, proactive step-by-step responses, and establishing a rapid response system. Individual consulting on new national treasury projects was also conducted after the training.
Governor Kim San stated, “With the government’s fiscal tightening policy continuing, securing national budget is very important to promote local pending projects,” and added, “I hope everyone fully understands the contents of this training and consulting and does their best to discover projects specialized for our region that align with government policy directions.”
Meanwhile, the county plans to make every effort to secure government budgets in line with government policy trends, including holding the 2nd National and Provincial Budget Support Project Discovery Report Meeting on the 5th of next month.
