Beomhan Group donated 50 million KRW on the 31st to the "Raising Many Children Together" project in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.

View original imageChangwon City is launching the "Raising Many Children Together" project from this year to reduce the financial burden on multi-child families in having and raising children and to create a warm atmosphere of shared celebration among citizens.
They plan to recruit sponsors from companies, organizations, and individuals to provide a birth congratulatory gift of 1 million KRW through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation for the birth of a third child or more.
Jung Young-sik, Chairman of Beomhan Group, said, “I hope this will be of some help to families raising children, who are the future leaders in this era of low birth rates,” and added, “We will continue to actively participate in community contribution activities.”

Meanwhile, Chairman Jung Young-sik currently serves as the Gyeongnam sponsor chairman of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation and has been a member of the Green Noble Club, a network of individual major donors contributing over 100 million KRW to the foundation. Since 2016, his cumulative donations have reached approximately 600 million KRW.
