Samsung Pay Linked to Kakao Shopping... Enhancing Payment Convenience
Kakao Commerce CIC announced on the 31st that it has enhanced the convenience of using mobile vouchers on KakaoTalk Gift and the payment convenience on Kakao Shopping by linking with Samsung Pay, Samsung Electronics' mobile payment service.
Mobile vouchers received as gifts on KakaoTalk Gift can be linked with Samsung Pay. Users simply need to press the Samsung Pay button at the bottom of the mobile voucher in the gift box to automatically save it to Samsung Pay.
Users can easily make payments by turning on Samsung Pay and tapping the corresponding mobile voucher at cafes, restaurants, movie theaters, and more. Multiple saved mobile vouchers can be viewed together on the Samsung Pay 'Coupons' screen, making management easy.
To enhance payment convenience for Kakao Shopping users, Samsung Pay has been added as a payment method. Samsung Pay can be used when purchasing products on KakaoTalk Gift, KakaoTalk Shopping, and Kakao Makers.
