Lam Research Appoints Vice President Park Junhong as Head of Korea Corporation
Global semiconductor equipment and solutions company Lam Research announced on the 30th that it has appointed Park Junhong as the President and CEO of its Korea subsidiary.
President Park joined Novellus Systems' U.S. headquarters in 2002 and, after Lam Research merged with Novellus Systems in 2012, he was responsible for semiconductor equipment development and global customer support. In 2016, he served as the Chief Technology Officer in charge of etching at Lam Research Korea, and since 2018, he has worked as the head of the Customer Business Division.
President Park will oversee Lam Research Korea, Lam Research Manufacturing Korea, the Korean subsidiaries of Lam Research, as well as the global research and development (R&D) center, Lam Research Korea Technology Center. The current CEO, Lee Sangwon, will support the transition until June.

President Park said, "I will become a growth partner who collaborates with partners to provide faster and differentiated services to customers and contribute to the sustainable development of the Korean semiconductor industry."
