Gwangju National Tax Service "Please Report the Status of Duty-Free Business Operators' Workplaces"
On the 26th, the Gwangju Regional Tax Office announced the business status reporting system for value-added tax (VAT) exempt businesses.
VAT-exempt businesses must report their business status, including last year's annual revenue, to the relevant tax office by the 13th of next month.
Reporting can be done via Hometax (internet) or Sontax (mobile app) without visiting the tax office.
For business status reporting, academies and residential rental businesses, which have many reporting subjects, can conveniently report by using the 'Sontax Guide' produced by the Gwangju Regional Tax Office.
