Ildong E-commerce Resumes Non-Face-to-Face Medical Services Through 'Hudadak Care'
Ildong Commerce, an e-commerce platform company under Ildong Group, announced on the 26th that it will continue services such as non-face-to-face medical consultations through Hudadak Care by succeeding the existing ‘Hudadak’ platform. Hudadak is a medical and health-related platform that connects medical consumers and healthcare professionals to facilitate mutual communication. It consists of ▲Hudadak Health ▲Hudadak Doctor ▲Hudadak Pharmacist ▲Hudadak Care.
Ildong Commerce plans to operate the Hudadak Care platform for non-face-to-face medical consultation brokerage services, considering the recently revised ‘Non-face-to-face Medical Consultation Pilot Project Guidelines’ as well as the Medical Service Act and the Pharmacist Act. Currently, the guidelines allow only patients who have received face-to-face medical treatment at the same clinic-level medical institution within the last six months to use non-face-to-face medical consultations. However, patients in ▲medically underserved areas (islands, remote areas, emergency medical vulnerable zones) ▲vulnerable time periods (weeknight 6 PM to 9 AM the next day, public holidays) ▲vulnerable groups (long-term care grade holders aged 65 or older, confirmed infectious disease patients, etc.) can use non-face-to-face consultations without prior face-to-face treatment history. Prescribed medications are, in principle, to be received at pharmacies after pharmacist counseling, including medication guidance, to prevent misuse and abuse.
In addition, Ildong Commerce plans to induce synergy by utilizing existing platforms such as Hudadak Health for the general public, Hudadak Doctor and Hudadak Pharmacist for healthcare professionals, as well as its own database assets containing information on approximately 70,000 medical institutions and 40,000 medical staff nationwide.

An Ildong Commerce representative stated, “Users can search for medical departments and location information on the Hudadak Care smartphone application to select medical institutions and pharmacies, and receive medical consultations and advice from doctors through the platform without visiting medical institutions in person,” adding, “We will continue to improve service quality to contribute to enhancing patients’ medical accessibility and promoting health, while also paying attention to revitalizing medical services and establishing a sound medical system through communication with healthcare professionals such as doctors and pharmacists.”
