Sh Suhyup Bank Launches Foreign Currency Gifticon Service
Sh Suhyup Bank announced on the 26th that it will launch the ‘Sh Foreign Currency Gifticon’ service, which allows users to easily gift foreign currency.
This service is available through Suhyup Bank's mobile banking application ‘Partner Bank’. It is linked with KakaoTalk, enabling users to conveniently send foreign currency gifts and messages to desired recipients.
Customers who receive foreign currency gifts can visit the nearest Suhyup Bank branch within one month with their ID and the mobile phone containing the gift message to receive the foreign currency without having a Suhyup Bank account. Even without visiting a branch, they can open a Suhyup Bank foreign currency deposit account via smartphone banking and make a deposit.
The available currencies for the service are three types: US Dollar, Japanese Yen, and Euro. The application amount ranges from a minimum of 50 dollars per transaction up to an equivalent of 1 million KRW based on the exchange rate.
