Kolon Group Continues Sharing for Children with Leukemia for 12 Years
Kolon Group continues its tradition of donating blood donation certificates to children with leukemia and pediatric cancer patients. On the 25th, Kolon Group held a donation ceremony at the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation located in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, donating 330 blood donation certificates. The certificates donated on this day were voluntarily collected from employees who participated in the company's blood donation campaign last year.
Since 2013, Kolon Group has consistently continued its blood donation certificate donation activities for 12 years. Twice a year, in summer and winter, blood donation campaigns are held at major business sites nationwide, and the collected blood donation certificates are all donated for the treatment of children with leukemia. So far, Kolon Group has donated a total of more than 6,500 blood donation certificates.
Since November last year, Papamobility, invested by Kolon Co., Ltd., has also extended a helping hand to pediatric cancer patients supported by the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation. It started providing free transportation support for pediatric cancer and rare incurable disease patients receiving support from the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation, and plans to provide a total of 370 transportation supports by February 2024. Papamobility is a specialized mobility company that provides optimized transportation services for transportation-vulnerable people, the elderly, and customers who need hospital visits, offering conveniences such as vehicle disinfection and wheelchair-accessible vehicles for leukemia patients.
