Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association Provides 100 Million Won Support for Fire Recovery in Seocheon Market
Emergency Fund Loans, Repayment Deferrals, and Preferential Interest Rates Financial Support
The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on the 24th that it will donate funds and promote financial support to aid in the recovery from the fire damage at the Chungnam Seocheon Specialty Market.
The Federation has donated 100 million KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association for recovery efforts related to the fire. Additionally, financial support will be provided to affected customers starting from the 26th.
The financial support will be provided through emergency loans, repayment deferrals, and preferential interest rates. Emergency loans will be offered without credit evaluation within the damage scale for members in urgent need of funds. For existing loan customers who suffered damage, repayment deferrals of principal and interest will be supported for up to six months based on the review results.

Customers affected by the fire who apply for new loans can receive preferential interest rates of around 0.3%. Applications can be submitted by visiting Saemaeul Geumgo branches located in Chungnam until the 29th of next month.
