[2024 US Election] Trump Calls Haley a "Fraud" After Primary Victory
Donald Trump, the leading Republican presidential candidate, criticized his rival Nikki Haley, former UN ambassador, after winning the presidential primary held on the 23rd (local time).
In his victory speech at the campaign headquarters set up in Nashua, New Hampshire, former President Trump said, "Who exactly was that imposter who went on stage first and claimed victory?" This was in reference to Haley's pledge to her supporters to win the next contest in South Carolina immediately after losing the New Hampshire primary.
Trump said, "She lost but gave a speech as if she had won," adding, "Ron came in second and left, but she came in third and is still hanging around." He was referring to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who placed second in the Iowa caucus on the 15th and subsequently dropped out, thereby pressuring Haley to withdraw.
Trump accused Haley of acting as if she had won despite losing badly. He said, "That doesn't make me too angry. I just pay back." On his social media, Trump also stated, "Haley said she had to win in New Hampshire but did not," adding that she was "delusional."

Trump confidently claimed that he would "easily win" in South Carolina. Regarding the Nevada primary scheduled for next week, he also said, "We have already won 100%." This appears to be a remark considering that Haley has not registered for the Nevada primary to be held on the 8th of next month.
