Samsung Card Provides Financial Support to Customers Affected by Fire in Seocheon Market
Payment deferral up to 6 months for charges from January to March
Installment payment support up to 6 months for amounts over 10,000 won
Samsung Card announced on the 24th that it will provide financial support to customers affected by the fire at Seocheon Market.
The payment of credit card bills from January to March of this year for affected customers will be deferred for up to six months. In addition, for domestic transactions of 10,000 KRW or more among the scheduled payment amounts, customers can pay in installments for up to six months. The interest incurred from installment payments requested by affected customers will be fully waived.
Furthermore, if affected customers use short-term card loans (cash service) or long-term card loans (card loan) by the end of February, interest will be reduced by up to 30%. Customers whose long-term card loan maturity falls before the end of February can extend the maturity date.
To receive financial support, customers need to submit a damage confirmation certificate issued by the administrative office. Detailed information can be obtained by contacting Samsung Card’s customer service hotline.
