North Fires Cruise Missile After Ten Days
North Korea fired several cruise missiles into the West Sea on the 24th. This missile launch by the North Korean military comes ten days after they fired a medium-range ballistic missile (which North Korea claims to be a hypersonic missile) on the 14th.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff detected several cruise missiles launched by North Korea into the West Sea around 7 a.m. that day. The JCS stated, "The detailed specifications are being analyzed precisely by South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities," adding, "Our military is strengthening surveillance and vigilance while closely cooperating with the U.S. side and monitoring North Korea's additional signs and activities."

This is the first time in about four months since September 2 of last year that the JCS has detected and announced cruise missiles launched by the North Korean military.
