It has evolved perfectly from the core to the cover. Titleist boasts, "You can experience overwhelming long game distance and increased spin control around the green. You can feel an even softer hitting sensation." It features a new high gradient core. The core is designed to be soft on the inside and gradually firmer toward the surface. This leads to faster ball speed. You can achieve longer distances with lower spin in the long game.

A new high flex casing layer and a soft urethane cover have been applied.
