Sejong-si Provides 1.17 Billion KRW from Disaster Relief Fund as 'Special Heating Expenses' Support

Sejong City provided special heating cost support to vulnerable groups and social welfare facilities in the region using disaster relief funds.
On the 23rd, Sejong City announced that it has completed the payment of 1.176 billion KRW from the fund as special heating costs for January and February to 5,606 vulnerable households, including basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty groups, and 86 facilities excluded from the government's special heating cost support.
Vulnerable households received 200,000 KRW per household, and social welfare facilities were supported with amounts ranging from 600,000 KRW to 2,000,000 KRW per facility, depending on the type and size of the facility.
To ensure prompt heating cost support, Sejong City provided cash payments directly to the eligible individuals and facilities without requiring separate applications.
