Hana Bank Allocates 10 Billion Won for Small Business Support Program
Implementation of Three Programs Including Support for High-Efficiency Energy and Digital Devices
Hana Bank announced on the 22nd that it will carry out a support project worth 10 billion KRW in collaboration with the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise, and Together Making the World (Social Solidarity Bank) to assist small business owners facing management burdens due to high inflation and high interest rates.
This project is part of Hana Bank's representative ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) program, the ‘Hana Power On Store Support Project.’ It is implemented through three programs: support for high-efficiency energy and digital transformation devices, support for workplace environment improvement (signboards and interior repairs), and total solution consulting support.
The high-efficiency device support project accepts applications from today until March 23 and will support about 2,300 small business sites. Up to 2 million KRW per business site will be provided to replace outdated low-efficiency energy devices with high-efficiency ones at about 1,800 business sites. Digital transformation devices such as kiosks, table orders, and AI (artificial intelligence) CCTV will be supported for about 500 business sites.
Secondly, the workplace environment improvement support project will support about 1,000 business sites. Applications will be accepted from March 11 to April 5. Up to 2 million KRW per business site will be provided to support the replacement of old signboards at about 500 business sites, and the remaining half will receive support for interior work, leak and waterproofing repairs, and other indoor maintenance.
Lastly, 1:1 customized consulting will be provided to about 10 small business sites, covering interior design, menu development, marketing, and more. The entire process will be edited into videos and introduced through social networking services (SNS).
In addition, an event supporting small business owners will be held concurrently. Customers who write supportive comments for small business owners on Hana Financial Group’s Instagram posts and regram them on their personal accounts with the required hashtags will receive food and beverage coupons, with a total of 50 winners.
