Mayor Oh holds New Year's greetings and policy briefings in Seoul's Gangdong-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Dobong-gu, strengthening connections with citizens

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon is enhancing his engagement with citizens.

At the beginning of 2024, Mayor Oh took the opportunity of New Year's greetings events in Seoul's autonomous districts such as Gangdong-gu to explain the direction of Seoul city administration for 2024.

Mayor Oh's start of New Year's contact with Seoul citizens was at the Gangdong-gu New Year's greeting event held at Gangdong Art Center at 3 p.m. on the 3rd.

Then, from 11 a.m. on the 16th, at the 2024 Gwangjin-gu New Year's greeting event held at Gwangjin District Office, Mayor Oh took the stage following the New Year's address by Kim Kyung-ho, head of Gwangjin District Office, and directly briefed on the 2024 Seoul city administration under the theme of "Special City of Companionship and Charm."

Before the 30-minute city administration briefing, Mayor Oh praised, "After hearing the New Year's address by Kim Kyung-ho, head of Gwangjin District Office, who achieved over 40 awards last year and 'First-class Integrity,' I must say he is 'Kim Kyung-ho, the head of Gwangjin District Office, who did better work than me.'"

At the "2024 Geumcheon-gu New Year's greeting event" held on the 17th, he also shared the direction of city administration for this year.

On this day, Mayor Oh will brief on the 2024 Seoul city budget and city administration direction. Kim Gil-sung, head of Jung District Office, will introduce projects jointly promoted by Seoul City and Jung-gu.

Jung-gu is pushing forward major projects that will reshape the urban landscape together with Seoul City.
