Since the tournament also serves as a qualifier for the 2024 Paris Olympics, competition is expected to be fiercer than ever.
Kim Taek-soo, Secretary General of the organizing committee, said, “Although the design of each seat and ticket settings were delayed due to the process of setting up a large-scale special arena at BEXCO instead of a gymnasium, please understand that this was to create the optimal viewing environment.” He added, “We will do our best in the remaining period to present differentiated content that can only be experienced at the 2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships.” He also urged, “Please hurry to book tickets to secure seats where you can see the world’s best players up close.”
