Goheung-gun Signs Win-Win Agreement with Online Shopping Mall 11st Co., Ltd.

Sales Channel Opens for Social Enterprises and 6th Industry Certified Products

Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced on the 19th that it signed a "Goheung Mall Agricultural and Marine Products Online Sales Activation Business Agreement" with 11st Co., Ltd. at the Palyongsan Hall of Goheung County Office.

Through this agreement, the county plans to further strengthen the online competitiveness of "Goheung Mall," which supports online marketing and sales for small and medium-sized farms, by partnering with 11st, a major domestic e-commerce company.

The signing ceremony was attended by related executives including Cho Dae-jung, Deputy Governor of Goheung, and Cho Kwang-il, Sales Planning Executive Director, who agreed to mutually cooperate in marketing support to expand online sales channels for Goheung's agricultural and marine specialty products.

Deputy Governor Cho Dae-jung said, "Goheung produces a large quantity of high-quality agricultural and marine products, but it is not easy to pioneer online sales channels. We will do our best to serve as a stepping stone for expanding online sales and markets of our agricultural and marine products through unique marketing in connection with 11st and Goheung Mall."

Cho Kwang-il, Sales Planning Executive Director of 11st, said, "Goheung, which produces excellent agricultural and marine products such as yuzu, accounting for 85% of national production, as well as seaweed and onions, is a competitive region in the online market. We will lay the foundation to ensure mutual growth through various marketing activities with Goheung Mall."

A county official stated, "The agreement with 11st, which is leading ESG management, has turned on a green light for the sale of social enterprises and sixth industry certified products in the region. This agreement will be an opportunity to take a step forward in establishing a smart distribution system for Goheung's agricultural and marine products."
