Wedding Photoshoot on the Road During Red Light
Netizens Say "Memories Are Nice, But It's Too Dangerous"
A couple was spotted taking wedding photos in the middle of a road in Gangnam, Seoul, sparking mixed reactions from netizens. On the 17th, JTBC's 'Sageon Banjang' revealed photos sent by informant A, taken on Dosan-daero in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The photos showed a man and woman dressed in a black suit and wedding dress, embracing each other and actively taking wedding photos in the middle of the road. Cars were lined up around them.
A said, "While driving on Dosan-daero, someone was taking wedding photos during a red light on the road," adding, "This spot is a crosswalk and U-turn zone, so it's not usually a place with cars, but these days there are many drunk drivers and people driving after using drugs. I reported this because it looked very dangerous and I was worried an accident might happen."
Netizens who saw the photos criticized the couple with comments such as, "Would anyone want to keep such photos as wedding pictures?", "Trying to make memories but disappearing into memories," "It's too dangerous and inconsiderate," and "That's a wedding photo from another world."
On the other hand, some expressed different opinions, saying, "If they take the photos within a limited time, it might be okay," "At Shibuya's scramble crossing, 90% of pedestrians are people holding cameras, and no one complains. If they take the photos within a limited time, it might be fine," and "Many people take photos while walking on crosswalks these days. Since we don't know the full situation, I hope people don't criticize too harshly."
Meanwhile, around November last year, a Japanese wedding photographer died after falling from a restaurant rooftop while shooting a couple preparing for their wedding. The photographer reportedly fell backward while stepping back to capture the couple's image on the rooftop before the wedding event. The Kitano Club, where the accident occurred, is a popular wedding venue in Japan, and it is said that the rooftop of the building has no fence.
