‘Gyeongnam National University Jisan Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Night of People’ Held
On the 16th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam attended the ‘2024 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Night’ held at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Changwon, hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, and organized by the WISE LINC 3.0 Project Group of Gyeongnam National University.

View original imageThis event brought together officials from Gyeongnam National University and related local institutions to share the achievements and best practices of the 2023 Gyeongnam National University Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Leading University (LINC 3.0) Development Project, and to promote information exchange on industry-academia-research cooperation and mutual development of the local community through networking with related organizations and family companies.
The Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Leading University (LINC 3.0) Development Project fosters talent through curriculum reform with practical education, field training, and entrepreneurship education; operates corporate collaboration centers and ICC; develops and commercializes technology through university startups; utilizes shared equipment; conducts joint industry-academia research; and builds an industry-academia-research platform for sharing and collaboration. The project period is from 2022 to 2028, with a total budget of 24 billion KRW.
Kang Jae-gwan, Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation at Gyeongnam National University, stated, “We will cultivate talent that meets the needs of the region and industry and establish a close network with Changwon City to lead regional development.”
