Haman-gun Signs 6 Billion KRW Investment Agreement with Oksan IMT
Expansion and Enhancement in Factory Automation Equipment and Secondary Battery Equipment Sectors
On the afternoon of the 16th, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province signed an investment agreement (MOU) worth 6 billion KRW with Oksan IMT.
The signing ceremony was held with the attendance of Haman County Governor Jo Geun-je, Oksan IMT CEO Jo Dong-won, and other officials. According to the investment agreement, Oksan IMT will expand its manufacturing plant located in Sanae-ri, Gaya-eup, and hire about 30 new employees.

Founded in 1995, Oksan IMT is a company specializing in the production of industrial machinery, operating its headquarters and two manufacturing plants in Gaya-eup, Haman.
Recently, the company has expanded its business into factory automation equipment and secondary battery equipment sectors. With domestic demand as well as the establishment of subsidiaries in Vietnam and Hungary, export volumes have increased, leading to the decision to expand the factory at its headquarters.
CEO Jo Dong-won said, “Due to the boom in new industry sectors, we expect significant growth both domestically and internationally,” adding, “We will become a company that grows together with Haman.”

In response, Governor Jo Geun-je stated, “We will spare no administrative and financial support to help Oksan IMT leap into a global company.”
