B2B Business Expansion Unveiled in Major US Cities
LA BIS Targets Medical and Healthcare Market Demand
LG Electronics is expanding its 'Business Innovation Center (BIC),' an exhibition space showcasing various products to broaden customer touchpoints as it grows its B2B (business-to-business) operations in the United States. Currently, BICs have been launched in major U.S. regions such as Los Angeles (LA) and Chicago, with a BIC set to open in New Jersey in the first quarter.

View original imageJang Ik-hwan, Vice President and Head of LG Electronics' BS Business Division, stated at the BS Business Division media briefing held on the 11th (local time) at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) that the company is expanding its B2B business in the U.S.
LG Electronics is expanding its electric vehicle charging business in the U.S. Additionally, to allow local B2B customers to directly see and experience LG Electronics' diverse B2B products and solutions, BICs are operated in regions including LA, Chicago, Atlanta, and Washington D.C. A BIC is also scheduled to open in New Jersey in the northeastern U.S. within the first quarter.
Since opening in 2022, the LA BIC has welcomed over 200 client companies annually, where they can directly experience next-generation digital signage such as Micro LED and OLED signage, as well as various products including LG Gram laptops, medical monitors, and robots, while conducting business meetings.
The LA BIC, designed with a Medical concept, features a total of 12 exhibition spaces including a lobby, nursing area, conference rooms, and X-ray examination rooms. The lobby space includes next-generation digital signage such as 163-inch and 136-inch extra-large Micro LED signage, as well as curved and transparent OLED signage.

Spaces such as operating rooms and inpatient rooms are equipped with digital X-ray detectors, surgical, diagnostic, and clinical monitors, and the disinfection robot (LG CLOi UV-C Bot) provides a differentiated medical solution experience. In addition, robot products including the CLOi GuideBot and an 11kW slow electric vehicle charger intended for the North American market are also on display.
LG Electronics explained, "California, where LA is located, is an important medical and healthcare market in the U.S.," adding, "It is significant from a business perspective as it houses major hospitals, headquarters and research centers of medical device manufacturers, as well as headquarters of major Hollywood film production companies."
LG Electronics is looking to expand its B2B business based on B2C (business-to-consumer) operations across various business areas. Leveraging data accumulated through its B2C business, including home appliances, the company aims to offer customized services and differentiated solutions to B2B customers, strengthening its position as a trusted 'business partner.'
