Yeongyang-gun, Seoul Yeongyanghaksa 2024 Admission Recruitment
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, is recruiting new residents for Yeongyang Dormitory from January 8 to February 7, targeting university students from Yeongyang who have enrolled in universities located in the Seoul metropolitan area.
The total number of selected students for 2024 is 22 (11 female students and 11 male students). Eligibility requires being a currently enrolled student at a two-year or higher university located in the Seoul metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon), and as of the announcement date, the student's guardian must have been registered as a resident in Yeongyang-gun for at least five years. If the quota is not filled, those whose guardians have been registered residents in Yeongyang-gun for at least one year as of the announcement date will also be included.
Yeongyang Dormitory, located at 550 Hancheon-ro, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Seokgwan-dong), does not charge admission or usage fees to reduce the educational expenses burden on residents; residents only need to pay utility bills (such as water and sewage fees) for their usage.
Applicants can apply by visiting the Autonomy Administration Division of Yeongyang-gun Office, or by email or registered mail. Final selection will be made based on criteria such as academic performance and income level. Detailed information can be found in the announcement on the Yeongyang-gun website.
