60-Year-Old Hunter Bitten on the Leg by Wild Boar Dies in Geoje
A man in his 60s hunting wild boars in a mountain in Geoje-si, Gyeongnam, died after being bitten by a wild boar.
According to the Geoje Police Station on the 8th, Mr. A was bitten on his left thigh by a wild boar around 3:10 p.m. on the 6th in a nearby mountain in Yeoncho-myeon, Geoje-si.
After a fellow hunter reported the incident, the 119 emergency medical team was dispatched, but Mr. A was found deceased.
The wild boar that attacked Mr. A was found dead near him, having been shot.
Mr. A, a professional hunter affiliated with the Wild Animal Management Association Geoje Branch, was reportedly driving the wild boar with hunting dogs along with fellow hunters.

The police confirmed that Mr. A had no other injuries besides the bite marks and concluded there was no suspicion of a crime.
