Gyeongnam Nonghyup Delivers Development Support Fund to Gyeongsang National University
Gyeongnam Nonghyup delivered 20 million KRW in university development support funds to Gyeongsang National University on the 8th.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Kwon Soon-ki, President of Gyeongsang National University, Cho Geun-su, General Headquarters Director of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, and Cho Cheong-rae, Director of Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters.
This development support fund delivery was made with the sponsorship of the Rural-Urban Win-Win National Movement Headquarters to promote university students' rural labor assistance.

Gyeongsang National University has supported farms struggling with labor shortages by organizing rural labor assistance with about 550 students over 18 sessions on weekends during the harvest season of garlic, onions, and other crops, considering the academic schedule.
President Kwon said, “We are grateful to Nonghyup and the farms for providing opportunities for our university students to practice sharing and contribute to the local community,” and added, “We will further expand and support related programs so that the university and local community can achieve mutual development.”

Director Cho said, “With the institutional support of Gyeongsang National University and the active participation of enrolled students in rural labor assistance, it has helped alleviate the rural labor shortage,” and expressed gratitude to the university officials and students for their great interest and warm encouragement toward agriculture and rural areas.
