Up to 30 Million KRW Support for Public Interest Activities by Nonprofit Private Organizations in Gyeonggi-do
Gyeonggi Province will provide up to 30 million KRW in support for nonprofit private organizations' public interest activities this year.
On the 8th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will accept online applications through the local subsidy system (Botaem e, www.losims.go.kr) by the 26th of this month for the '2024 Nonprofit Private Organizations Public Interest Activities Support Project,' aimed at supporting the voluntary growth of nonprofit private organizations within the province and promoting public interest activities.
Selected organizations will receive project funding ranging from 5 million to 30 million KRW.
The eligible applicants are nonprofit private organizations registered in Gyeonggi Province as of the announcement date (January 5, 2024).
The support project covers seven fields: ▲ Development of civil society and social integration ▲ Implementation of innovative economy and fair society ▲ Peace cooperation and national security ▲ Social welfare ▲ Culture, tourism, and sports promotion ▲ Environmental conservation and resource saving ▲ Transportation and safety.
However, Gyeonggi Province will conduct the project briefing session through video materials available on the Gyeonggi Public Interest Activities Support Center website (www.gggongik.or.kr). The briefing includes explanations on the support procedures, required documents, selection process, and how to complete the project application form.
The selection criteria include organizational capacity, project content, and budget feasibility, comprehensively reviewed by the Gyeonggi Public Interest Project Selection Committee, with final selections made by the end of March. Organizations that ranked highly in last year’s project evaluation or were selected for proposed projects in the 2023 Gyeonggi Province Public-Private Cooperation Resident Participation Budget may receive additional points.
