Kookmin University Student An Jun-gyeong, Top Passer of the 60th Tax Accountant Exam
Student An Jun-gyeong from the Department of AI Big Data Convergence Management at the College of Business Administration, Kookmin University, achieved the top score in the 60th Certified Tax Accountant Examination held last November.
The Certified Tax Accountant is a type of professional overseen by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the exam is hosted by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. Those who pass are recognized for their expertise in tax law and tax accounting knowledge.
This exam had 7,562 applicants, with 6,417 actually taking the test. The final number of successful candidates was 718, resulting in a pass rate of 11.36%.

An Jun-gyeong, aged 25, was listed as the top scorer among all successful candidates. He expressed, “I am pleased to conclude my challenging exam preparation with such a good result,” and added, “I am especially grateful to my father, who also walked the path of a Certified Tax Accountant.”
