They said it was too burnt to eat, but only the bones remain of the Jokbal... Customer ate all the service side dishes too
"Can't Eat a Single Bite" Checked: 'Jokbal Left with Only Bones'
"All the Rice Balls and Side Dishes Provided as Service Were Also Finished"
A self-employed business owner shared a story about a customer who ordered jokbal (pig's trotters) for takeout, then requested a refund claiming there was a problem with the food and that they could not eat it, but the owner was shocked to find that only the bones remained.

On the 4th, JTBC's 'Case Officer' revealed the story of Mr. A, who runs a jokbal restaurant in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province. Last Christmas, a customer ordered a half-and-half jokbal, which mixed regular jokbal and grilled jokbal, for takeout and later requested a refund.
The customer called the store and said, "The jokbal is burnt, so I couldn't eat it at all," demanding a refund. Mr. A promised to refund and arranged for a delivery driver to collect the food. The customer then asked, "Can't the refund be processed through the delivery driver?" To which Mr. A explained, "Since you purchased with a card at the store, you need to come to the store with your card," asking for understanding.
However, when Mr. A saw the condition of the jokbal collected by the delivery driver, he could not hide his surprise. Contrary to the customer's claim that they had not eaten any, the jokbal was completely stripped of meat, leaving only the bones. The complimentary rice balls and side dishes provided as service were also all eaten.
Later, when the customer came to the store to cancel the card payment, Mr. A asked, "Isn't this not leftovers but that you ate it all?" The customer did not respond but only insisted on the refund and took the full amount of 38,000 won for the jokbal.
Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as, "This is just a delivery freeloader," "At least they should have deducted the cost of the rice balls and side dishes before refunding," "Because of such unreasonable customers, legitimate refund requests become complicated," and "This is why such customers are called 'minpae' (troublemakers)."
Meanwhile, Mr. A is not the only self-employed person to face such absurd refund demands after customers have eaten the food. On the 2nd, another complaint surfaced about a customer demanding a refund for tteokbokki simply because it was too spicy. The writer, Mr. B, said, "The customer said they ordered after reading reviews but claimed the food was different from the reviews while eating," adding, "They said it was not just spicy but too spicy and requested a refund because they couldn't continue eating," which sparked outrage among netizens.
