Wemade Selected as Preferred Negotiator for KBO Game License Business
Wemade announced on the 5th that it has been selected as the preferred negotiation candidate in the bidding for the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) game license business for 2024-2026.
Once the contract is signed, Wemade will obtain the rights to use the KBO CI, logos, emblems, uniforms, and character symbols of the 10 KBO league teams (excluding the national team CI rights) for domestic and international baseball games, which are rights or licenses granted by the KBO.
Additionally, Wemade will be granted the authority to resell the KBO CI usage rights to domestic and international third parties limited to PC, mobile, console games, and screen baseball game companies through separate sublicensing agreements. It will also act as the agent for the KBO game license business.
