It was established to promote preventive measures against crimes targeting women, such as the rapidly increasing sexual violence and stalking, to gather opinions on women’s safety policies, and to revitalize on-site policing through civilian participation.
Going forward, the Muan Women’s Daily Guardians will serve as a reliable policing partner by providing opinions on crime prevention policies targeting women, giving feedback on security concerns, and identifying and supporting socially vulnerable groups.
The team leader of the Women’s Emergency Hotline who participated in the meeting said, “It was a meaningful time to share practical assistance measures for women in crisis, such as domestic violence victims, through exchanges with the police.”
