View original imageAnyang City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting a 'Low Birthrate Policy Citizen Participation Group' to reflect the diverse opinions of Anyang citizens in the process of establishing low birthrate policies.
The recruitment target is citizens aged 20 or older residing in Anyang City. Applicants should submit an application form via email, including their opinions on childcare and care services, family friendliness and multiple children, pregnancy and childbirth, marriage and housing, education and promotion, and low birthrate issues.
The recruitment period is until the 19th of this month, and the number of recruits is around 30. Anyang City will notify the selected candidates individually in early February.
From the date of appointment until the end of this year, the citizen participation group members will engage in activities such as discovering proposals for low birthrate measures through monthly group meetings, promoting low birthrate policies, and participating in workshops.
Mayor Choi Dae-ho of Anyang City stated, "We look forward to the active participation of the citizen participation group, who will propose practical low birthrate policies from the perspectives of various citizens such as young people, mothers, and caregivers, to overcome the increasingly serious population decline."
