Suspect in Lee Jae-myung Attack Undergoing Search of Residence and Office
On the 3rd, a search and seizure operation is being conducted at the home and office of Kim Mo (67), the suspect who attacked Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, with a weapon.
The Busan Police announced that 25 investigators were deployed and the search and seizure began at 1:30 PM that day.
Earlier, it was confirmed that Kim arrived in Busan on the 1st, went to Ulsan, then returned to Busan the same day, and on the morning of the 2nd, committed the crime at the planned site of Gaduk New Airport.
The police reported that the knife seized at the crime scene had a total length of 18 cm, a blade length of 13 cm, and the paper wrapping the blade at the time was white A4 paper.
