Oil Tanker Running on Geochang Road Trapped and Isolated in Snow

A vehicle was trapped in snow overnight in Geochang, Gyeongnam.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, at around 6:22 a.m. on the 3rd, a fuel tanker truck was stranded on a road near Jinmok-ri, Namsang-myeon, Geochang-gun due to accumulated snow on the road.
The dispatched fire authorities cleared the snow around the vehicle's wheels and spread calcium chloride and sand on the road to move the vehicle.
From early morning, snow or rain fell mainly in the northern and western inland areas of Gyeongnam, including Hapcheon, Hamyang, Sancheong, and Geochang.
The heavy snow warning issued earlier for Hapcheon and Hamyang was lifted during the morning.

Earlier, around 7 a.m., Gyeongnam Province sent a safety advisory text message stating, "Due to the high risk of road icing caused by rain or snow, please ensure safe distances between vehicles during your commute, reduce speed, and use public transportation whenever possible for safety."
