Operation of Labor-Management Safety Measures Committee for Safety Creation and Employee Protection
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (President Park Jong-gil) received the 'Public Institution Labor-Management Innovation Award' at the 2nd Public Institution Labor-Management Innovation and HR Innovation Talent Awards ceremony held last year.
Following 2022, the Public Institution Labor-Management Innovation Award, organized by the Korea Certified Labor Attorneys Association for the second time in 2023, selects and honors outstanding public institutions through evaluations in areas such as labor-management win-win cooperation, labor-management capacity building, labor-management ESG sustainable management, labor rights, and safe workplace management.
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service was highly recognized for its joint labor-management efforts to create a safe workplace, including operating a joint safety measures committee, producing and distributing a comprehensive manual for handling aggressive complaints, installing complaint screening desks, reorganizing customer consultation rooms, and operating a help desk to promote employees' mental health.
