KB Securities Holds 'Consumer Protection Day' Event in Q1
KB Securities announced on the 3rd that it held a quiz event for financial consumers and had its employees sign the 'Consumer Protection Practice Pledge' to commemorate the 'Consumer Protection Day' for the first quarter of 2024.
KB Securities designates the first business day of each quarter as the company-wide Consumer Protection Day. During this period, it fosters employees' consumer protection mindset through various consumer protection-related content, training, and events, and provides education to consumers to prevent damages and offer investment information.
On this Consumer Protection Day, employees first pledged to practice the five core values of consumer protection. Specifically, they committed to attitudes regarding providing information to customers, valuing personal information, mindset toward laws and customer responses, and self-development as financial professionals. This pledge served as an opportunity for KB Securities employees to renew their dedication to consumer protection.
Additionally, based on a video about 'Financial Consumers' Rights and Complaint Procedures,' a quiz was created. Among customers who answered correctly, 100 were selected by drawing to receive two cups of latte as a prize. Through this quiz event, customers had another opportunity to watch the financial education video and learn about their legal rights to protect themselves. The video is available on KB Securities' official YouTube channel, 'M-able TV.'
