Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae, Urges to View Gimhae with a Broad and Fair Perspective
On the 2nd, Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, held the opening ceremony and began the new year's work of the Gapjin year.
Before the opening ceremony, Mayor Hong visited the National Cemetery with the newly appointed Deputy Mayor Ahn Kyungwon and 20 senior officials.

Following this, the opening ceremony began with a pre-performance by the Gimhae City Choir, followed by the reading of the pledge for integrity practice and proactive administration, the awarding of commendations to exemplary and outstanding public officials and excellent institutions, and then the New Year's address.
Mayor Hong told the city hall employees, “First, I hope you view Gimhae, where you live, and your colleagues around you as objects of admiration,” adding, “We must be able to rediscover our city Gimhae, which we have not looked at closely, with a proper perspective.”
