View original imageOn the same day, Hoban Group held the 'Excellent Partner Company Awards Ceremony' at Hoban Park Building 2 in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by about 200 people, including Kim Seon-gyu, Chairman of Hoban Group; Song Jong-min, Vice Chairman of Hoban Industry; Park Cheol-hee, General President of Hoban Construction; Kim Dae-heon, General Planning President of Hoban Group; Lee Ki-tae, CEO of Dongwoo Construction; and representatives from partner companies.
Hoban Group presented plaques of appreciation and prize money to 42 excellent partner companies in three categories: construction, civil engineering, and safety. Hoban Construction and Hoban Industry, the construction affiliates of Hoban Group, selected the outstanding partner companies through a fair evaluation among those who carried out construction projects last year.
In his New Year's address, Kim Seon-gyu, Chairman of Hoban Group, said, "This year marks a special year as it is the 35th anniversary of Hoban Group's founding," and emphasized, "We must all consider what role Hoban Group will play when the national economy is in difficulty, in the spirit of economic patriotism (經濟報國)."
He continued, "We have supplied more than 180,000 housing units so far, and we will continue to strive for the stability of housing for ordinary citizens," adding, "We will boldly invest in national key industries to build energy infrastructure and contribute to the national economy through export expansion." He also said, "We will practice co-growth with partner companies in the spirit of mutual prosperity and contribute our achievements to society in the right way."

Hoban Group is continuously making efforts for mutual growth and co-prosperity with its partner companies. As part of this, it has provided emergency management stabilization funds to partner companies and practices early cash payment of construction fees every month. It also became the first in the construction industry to sign an agreement with the Win-Win Growth Committee for the 'Partner Company Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Support Project.' The Win-Win Cooperation Fund for Large and Small Businesses, contributed by Hoban Group over the past six years, amounts to a total of 85.6 billion KRW.
