Creation of a 'Smart Bus Stop' in Samjuk-myeon, Anseong
Equipped with Heating and Cooling, Automatic Doors, and Heated Seats
On the 2nd, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it has installed and begun operating a 'Smart Bus Shelter' equipped with advanced technology in Samjuk-myeon.
The Samjuk-myeon Smart Bus Shelter was created by upgrading the existing old bus shelters in the Samjuk-myeon area with various convenience facilities. The shelter is equipped with amenities such as air conditioning and heating, air purifiers, automatic doors, and heated seats.
Previously, as part of the 4th Anseong City Local Public Transportation Plan, the city has been promoting the creation of bus lounges and the installation of smart shelters in the eastern region (Iljuk, Juksan, Samjuk). On December 18th of last year, lounges were completed and are currently operating at the bus terminals in Iljuk-myeon and Juksan-myeon, and now the smart bus shelter in Samjuk-myeon has also been completed.

A city official stated, "We plan to expand the installation of smart bus shelters to revitalize public transportation and enhance the convenience for public transportation users," adding, "We will continuously expand public transportation convenience facilities to establish a comfortable and happy public transportation culture."
