KAI Delivers 12 FA-50s to Poland in Record Shortest Time
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has successfully completed the delivery of 12 units of the Poland export model FA-50GF just 1 year and 3 months after signing the export contract with Poland.
On the 2nd, KAI, which signed a contract in September 2022 to export 48 FA-50 aircraft to Poland, began fulfilling the contract by delivering the 1st and 2nd FA-50GF units to the Minsk Air Base in Poland last July, and completed delivery to the Polish Air Force with the 12th unit on December 29.
KAI has delivered 12 out of the total 48 units contracted to Poland, and the remaining 36 units will be developed in the FA-50PL configuration according to the Polish Air Force's requirements and are scheduled to be delivered from 2025 to 2028.

Kang Gu-young, President of KAI, stated, "The on-time delivery of 12 FA-50GF units to Poland within the year was made possible through the active cooperation between the governments of Korea and Poland," adding, "We will expand defense cooperation with Poland and further contribute to strengthening air power."
