"Kim Joo-hyung hangs a gold medal around his neck, and Park In-bee is elected as an International Olympic Committee (IOC) athlete representative."
This is hopeful news for the domestic golf world in 2024, the Gapjin Year (甲辰年) imbued with the energy of the Blue Dragon. This year, the global festival, the Paris Olympics, will be held from July 26 to August 11. Notably, golf was reinstated as an official event at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics after 112 years. This time, Kim Joo-hyung, the future of men's golf, and "Golf Empress" Park In-bee dream of a dramatic story in Paris.
Kim Juhyung will challenge for the gold medal at the Paris Olympics this coming July.

Kim did not wear the Taegeuk mark at last year's Hangzhou Asian Games, which is why he is firmly preparing for the Paris Olympics. In September last year, he perfectly completed the rehearsal for the Paris Olympics. He finished tied for 6th at the DP World Tour Kazoo Open de France held at Le Golf National (par 71, 7,249 yards) near Paris, France. Le Golf National is the course where the Paris Olympics will be held.
Kim Joo-hyung is showing peak form. Last season, including one victory, he entered the top 10 nine times, earning $7,774,918 (about 10.1 billion KRW) in prize money and ranking 20th in the FedEx Cup standings. Recently, the PGA Tour listed Kim Joo-hyung at the top among players under 24 to watch in 2024. Kim's sole focus is to secure a medal at the Paris Olympics to establish a foundation for a long career on the PGA Tour stage.

In November last year, the IOC announced 32 candidates for athlete representatives, including Park In-bee.
